The weekly Farmer’s Market in Barriere is growing by leaps and bounds. Every Thursday throughout the summer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. vendors set up on the lawns at Sam’s Pizza and Rib House next to the Yellowhead Highway on the south side of town. A new vendor at the market last Thursday was Fred Eaves from The House of Baskets in Lac La Hache. Fred’s display of colourful and reasonably priced hanging baskets gave area shoppers an opportunity to find that perfect arrangement for their garden decor.
