Barriere First Responders president, Doug Bourque, presented Barriere First Responder volunteer Azriel Kowtek the ‘In Recognition of Outstanding Dedication’ plaque on Monday, Aug. 6, at a First Responders’ barbecue in the community.
A Barriere First Responders spokesperson posted, “We all know how much work is involved in volunteering your time to help others and the community. Sometimes people go above and beyond to make sure it succeeds, operates smoothly and achieves the highest professional level of service to the community.
“We at the Barriere First Responders feel a Recognition of Outstanding Dedication plaque is necessary to acknowledge the outstanding efforts in our local community’s society volunteers.
“This award is presented to Azriel Kowtek for all her countless hours fundraising, cooking spaghetti sauce, responding to most calls no matter what time, weather or location, and so much more. We are very proud of her efforts and she is a valuable asset to the community. Thank you so much.”
