Clearwater RCMP are gearing up for their annual Cram the Cruiser event this weekend ( Dec. 3).

Donations from the fundraiser will go to the Clearwater Food Bank.

Cram the Cruiser will take place between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. at Buy- Low and the public can donate non-perishable food items such as canned or dry goods, juice, toiletries, baking supplies among others, to be filled into the RCMP cruiser.

First 100 donors will receive a free reusable grocery bag. There will also be hot chocolates and cookies available. Photo opportunities with Santa by donation will also be available on site.

The Clearwater RCMP held its first Cram the Cruiser in 2020 and the event has been a success sine then.

This year food donations will be significant for Clearwater’s food bank as they anticipate a challenging 2023 with inflation and rising price of goods.
