It is with great sadness that on July 26, 2017, Brenda Shevolup (Ewashina) passed away at the age of 64. She was predeceased by her husband Mark of 21 years in 2002, her mom May Stone in 1954, and her father and step-mom Len and Helen Ewashina in 2015.
She is survived by her son Ryan (Cynthia), brothers Larry (Shelley) and Ralph (Joanne), sisters Coralea (Bill), Wendy (Richard) and Penny (Shawn).
She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, as well as many other family members and close friends.
She enjoyed volunteering at Hastings Little League in Vancouver before moving home eight years ago. She loved working at Jim’s Food Market in Little Fort as well as AG Foods in Barriere once she returned home.
Brenda enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends close by. She had the ability to turn anyones bad day into a good day with her positive outlook and her smile.

The calm meadow sits peacefully,
Confident that she will survive.
She is a beautiful sight,
Dressed in garments of green,
Detailed with reds and purples.
The animals and people admire her,
They listen to her positiveness.
They love her and she loves them back.
