After a brief battle with cancer, Joseph Ernest (Ernie) Roland Girard passed away quietly on December 13, 2016.
He was predeceased by daughter Marylynn and son Marvin. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years Laura, son Roland (Lori), daughters Delinda (Roy) Marriott, Maryann Girard, Debby (Robin) Foster. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no service at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be held later this year when travel isn’t a problem.
We would like to thank Dr. Farren, the nurses and volunteers at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home for all the great care they gave our husband and father.
