In Loving Memory of Joseph Leo Bernard Venne July 14, 1930 – November 4, 2016

Joseph Leo Bernard Venne of Barriere, B.C., passed away suddenly on November 4, 2016, at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C., at the age of 86.

Leo was born in East Windsor, Ontario on July 14, 1930.

He is survived by his loving wife Norma, sister Eve Gauthier of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, daughter Rita Venne of Abbotsford, B.C., son Richard Venne of Vancouver Island, daughter Debbie Venne of Vancouver, B.C., step - daughter Lynn Williams of Duncan, B.C., step - son Marlon Cordeta of Edmonton, AB., step - daughter Liza Cordeta of Little Fort, B.C. Leo will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Leo was predeceased by his brothers Henry, Alsid, and Paul, father Telesphore Venne and mother Marianne.

He worked many years as an iron worker and a boilermaker. Leo belonged to the Williams Lake Draft Horse Society. He loved horses and other animals. He also loved to dance and listen to music. Leo hunted and fished in his spare time. His memory of love and kindness will be cherished always.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St Paul, Barriere, B.C., Reverend, Brian Krushel officiating. Donations in memory of Leo Venne may be made to the Barriere Hospice Society.
