Last week Tessa Salle and her mom came over for a social distancing photography outing. We hiked down to Leonie Creek, which runs along the edge of our property, to take photos of the water.

Our 4-H Photography assignment right now is water pictures. The pictures have to have some sort of water theme in them.

We took pictures by the little bridge and the water was flowing very fast. We had to be careful not to fall in. I touched the water and it was freezing cold!

We walked along the creek-side and found a really old car sitting in the trees that looked like it had crashed many decades ago. There was moss growing all over it and the door was falling off. Even though it looked like it had crashed, it looked really cool because of nature growing around and in it.

We got to the end where the road meets the creek and stopped to take more pictures. My sister Lilliana was throwing rocks into the creek trying to make a splash so we could get a picture of it splashing but it was difficult to capture.

It was peaceful until the end when a little snake came out of the bush! We all screamed and ran!

I have to admit it was really funny seeing my mom and Mrs. Salle running!

It was a really nice day with the sun shining. We had a lot of fun and it was really nice to see one of my friends after being off school for so long.
