The Angel Tree at the Library in Barriere during the month of December 2011 raised $166.50 in donations as area residents placed a paper angel on the tree in memory of a passed loved one.
Drake Smith and Bonnie CruzelleMyram then stepped forward and together have matched this amount, bringing the total to $333.
All of the funds are earmarked for the Barriere Hospice House Society. This organization actively fundraises towards building a Hospice House in Little Fort in the future that will service North Thompson Valley residents.
