On Wednesday, Nov. 19, Drydyn Oja-Ames of Barriere, celebrated his sixth birthday, and instead of toys, he asked his party guests to sponsor him in the Walk for Memories, in support of the Alzheimer Society of B.C. Thanks to supporters like these kids, much needed funds help to bring us a step closer in the search for the cure for dementia. Funds raised at the Walk for Memories also help the 70,000 people in B.C. who live with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia connect to the province-wide network of information and support services provided by the Alzheimer Society of B.C. We invite you to save the date: The 2015 Walk for Memories will take place on Sunday, Jan. 25.
