The Barriere and Area Chamber of Commerce report they have received a record number of nominations for Business of the Year 2016 award.

Chamber representative Marie Downing notes, “The nominations will be judged by three independent panels and then tallied. The winner and runners up will be announced at our Business of the Year Dinner and Comedy night, on Nov. 12, in the fall fair hall.”
The Business of the Year Dinner and Comedy night features comedian and master of sounds, Herb Dixon. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased at the Barriere and Area Chamber of Commerce on Barriere Town Road, next to the Liquor Store, or at Armour Mountain Office Services across the highway from the Petro Station/A&W.
