District of Barriere Chief Administration Officer Colleen Hannigan reports, “The District of Barriere’s contract with Economic Development Officer (EDO), Andrew Hayward, has been extended from Jan. 10, until the end of 2012.
“He will continue to promote Barriere and the TNRD – Area ‘O’ internationally, federally, regionally and locally on a part-time consultant basis that will be more cost-effective for both the District and Mr. Hayward.
“As a contractor he will be allowed to pursue additional work with other communities, governments and the private sector as long as it does not create a conflict with the work he is doing for the District of Barriere and TNRD - Area O.”
