Art For Others was held on Apr. 30, of this year.
The Art For Others event is held almost annually at Barriere Elementary School. It is a celebration of the Arts at the school, combined with donating to others and giving back to the community.
The student-made art is displayed and sold by donation to parents and community members to raise funds for a youth program in the Barriere area.
Every year local artists and artisans donate their time and talent to create art projects to be sold at the celebrations.
This year we would like to thank Lynne Nordquist, Dennis and Laurann Farquharson, Leanne Eustache, Diane Fraser, Louise Dunstan and Bev Anderson for supporting our school as visiting artists.
This well attended event brings together our school, our parents and our community in a very rewarding way.
This year we are donating the proceeds to the Barriere Youth Soccer Association.
