The Lower North Thompson Learning and Literacy co-ordinator Barb Gordon says they will be hosting a Barriere Health Fair at The Ridge on Saturday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Health Fair has been organized in support of Family Literacy Day which will be celebrated on Jan. 27.
Gordon says the health fair will provide information to attendees on many health issues including holistic and natural approaches to health.
Some of the organizations that are represented at the Health Fair include:
Kamloops Hearing Aid Centre, Lifeline Thompson Region, Natures Fare; CNIB, Heart & Stroke, Alzheimer Society, Live, Love, Laugh Wellness Clinic, Holistic Massage, Diabetes Association, MS Society, Interior Health, Runners Sole and other treatment and prevention providers.
