This coming Friday there will be music!

This coming Friday there will be music!

From contemporay to classical; the music will fill the Christian Life Assembly Church in Barriere during a Benefit concert for the Barriere Food Bank. And it all takes place this week, on Friday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m.

The cost of admission is simply a cash or non-perishable food items donation.  One hundred per cent of the donations collected will be given to the Barriere Food Bank.

The concert will offer a number of piano pieces performed from a variety of local piano students.  Music pieces will feature a variety of styles from current contemporary arrangements to some very enjoyable classical pieces from composers such as Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Liszt and Debussy.   There will also performances from local artists offering their own soul-felt music, some of which they have written themselves. These pieces will be accompanied by guitar and sung from their heart and soul.

Everyone is encourgaed to attend and support the Barriere Food Bank while enjoying a great evening of music from the classical to the simply divine. For more information call Lynne at 250-672-0111.
