The Best Decorated Barriere Business contest sponsored by the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association provided some great prizes for the winners and helped dress up the community for the recent Labour Day weekend event.
First place went to the Yellowhead Pioneer Residence with giant painting of beef cattle and old time photography displays.
Second place went to REMAX Integrity Realty with their tractor and hay wagon, complete with border collie stuffy.
Third place was awarded to Barriere and Area Chamber of Commerce who had their windows painted with the theme of the fair.
