The Barriere Returnit Bottle Depot is advising customers that all beer and pop cans must be sorted once again. It seems that the opportunity to mix the two together when dropping off at the depot is no longer possible.
“We were able to accept them mixed together awhile ago while a study was being done, but that is no longer happening now,” said depot proprietor Mrs. Lee, “Now we must sort them once again, so I would like people to know before they bring them here to sort them at home first.”
Lee says she is sorry that users must once again sort and bag separately all cans that have contained alcohol.
