This Saturday the Barriere and District Chamber of Commerce the Silent Auction/Business of the Year will take place feb. 19, at the Fall Fair Hall.
Chamber staff report that numerous nomination forms have been flooding their office over the last few weeks and they are happy to announce that there are 12 nominees for the Business of the Year - 2010 award. Nominees are: AG Foods, Amarok Timber & Log, Armour Mountain Restaurant @ Knights Inn, Barr-K Treats, Carol Patton CGA, Estylo Hair & Spa, IDA Pharmacy, Insight Tire & Auto, Media Esteem Business Services, Armco Construction, Sam’s Pizza, and the Yellowhead Pioneer Residence Society.
The winner will be announced Saturday evening, with awards presented by Brian Sims of Community Futures and Dr. Terry Lake, MLA. A great turn-out is anticipated for the event.

The evening is open to the public, there is no cover charge and free refreshments will be available.
