“A crafter’s delight,” is how Bernice Randrup described the Craft Fair held Dec. 5, in the Chu Chua Hall.

“It was a wonderful community event with fresh and preserved foods, locally beaded jewelry, history books, fresh bannock and hearty soup,” told Randrup, “And the Elder’s Raffle had a wide selection of choices and many options to win.”

The hall was a bustling place with something for everyone, “or just a meeting and greeting place”.

Fresh fruit and veggies, preserves, baking, books, and uniquely beaded jewelry, all combined perfectly with home based businesses for seasonal shoppers to find those special gifts for under the tree.

Randrup added that the freshly made soup, bannock and coffee provided the community “with a great fundraiser”.

She advises everyone to “mark your calendar for next year.”
