CHLW 93.1 The Bear Radio Station’s Steve Shannon donned his chefs outfit and got right to work cooking up vegetables.

The annual Barriere Secondary School Christmas Lunch was as usual, cooked and served up by volunteer community members for the student body.

The event brings together the high school’s teens and members of area businesses, government, groups and organizations who volunteer to cook serve and cleanup this annual seasonal event at the school.

Of course while the meal preparations are taking place the wonderful smells wafting through the school hallways have everyone working up a great appetite by lunchtime.

This year saw great participation from the community, and the school sends everyone who participated a sincere and hearty Merry Christmas and thank you.
