Cowboy Church fundraiser held at fairgrounds in Barriere

(L-r) Gordie West, Hugh McLennan and Butch Falk are shown entertaining a small gathering of approximately 20 area residents at a Cowboy Church held the morning of June 14 at the North Thompson Agriplex in Barriere. Entertainers Bill Fowler and Mike Daggart were also on stage. The five entertainers provided their services free of charge in support of the event which was a ‘by donation’ fundraiser for the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association.

The NTFFRA say due to having to cancel their annual Fall Fair and Rodeo because of COVID-19 they “will be holding more social distancing events throughout the year to help keep the doors open at the fairgrounds”.
