Don’t forget to wave to the Barriere Elementary parade

Staff at Barriere Elementary say they are planning to say “hello” to their students on Friday, May 1, when they will take to their vehicles in a parade formation and tour through the heart of the community so they can see their young students, and of course the students will be able to wave at their teachers and school support staff.

Staff at Barriere Elementary say they are planning to say “hello” to their students on Friday, May 1, when they will take to their vehicles in a parade formation and tour through the heart of the community so they can see their young students, and of course the students will be able to wave at their teachers and school support staff.

Staff have already planned their route through the community, and are now inviting students to come out on porches, stand in the garden, or just wave from the windows. However, students must remember the current social distancing guidelines while participating in waving or shouting “hello”.
