The North Thompson Valley Garden Club and the North Thompson Volunteer and Information Centre encourage everyone with an email address to keep voting for them on the Pepsi Refresh website at: www.refresheverything.ca.
The Garden Club is trying to win $5,000 for improvements to the Barriere Community Garden, and the Volunteer Centre is looking to win $10,000 to help out with their Barriere After School Program.
As of April 7th, the Garden Club is stalled in the number six position; but they need to be number four to win the funds. The Volunteer Centre has moved up to number 13, when only a week ago they were around 17.
Voting ends at 8 p.m. on April 30th, so there isn’t much time left. Get all your friends and family voting, too.
