The North Thompson Fall Fair is well into preparations for their 2016 event, with some very special prizes being made available to the teamsters who enter their horses into the Heavy Horse Division thanks to sponsors Brandt Tractor and Ichi Resources.
“We are excited to announce that this section of the 2016 and 2017 Fall Fairs will have a grand prize for one very lucky teamster,” says award organizer Mike Chappell, “Every person who enters and competes in a class in this section will be given an opportunity via a draw to win a brand new sleigh in 2016, and another opportunity in 2017 to win a brand new wagon!”
Chappell says to be eligible to win the sleigh offered in 2016 you must have competed in the 2015 North Thompson Fall Fair Heavy Horse section, and enter the 2016 show with the following requirements applying:
• Must be signed up for a minimum of two classes = (one entry ticket to the draw)+(each additional class entered will receive another entry.)
• Enter the fair’s parade (with your team = get one additional entry to the draw)
• Have the best dressed team/wagon, cart in the parade (get one additional entry to the draw)
• Donation to the heavy horse barn of $50 (we will award you an additional entry to the draw. Multiple donations/multiple entries)
To be eligible to win the wagon offered in 2017 you must have competed in the 2016 North Thompson Fall Fair Heavy Horse section, and enter the 2017 show with all of the above requirements applying. An additional entry for the 2017 draw will be provided to all of the winners of Heavy Horse section classes at the 2016 fair.
