2010/2011 Miss North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Princess Seanna Lyons.

Hello to my beautiful valley! As a North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association Princess, and a grade 12 university student, I have had a very busy few of months.

I am so please to say that I have just completed my first year of university in the Early Childhood Education program at T.R.U. This program kept me very busy, but has been so rewarding and has taught me so much.

During the program I also had three practicums that I had to complete, which were so much fun, as I was able to gain some hands-on experiences.

Now that I am done for the summer I am getting myself ready for graduation. I am so excited and a little scared to be finished high school. I look forward to new experiences and getting myself into a career.

Now that it is summer,  pageant is getting a lot more busy, which really excites me. So far I have loved traveling to different communities and meeting so many new people. Being able to get up on stage and share a little about our valley always makes me feel so proud about the community I grew up in.

I also really enjoy seeing all the other visiting royalty, they are truly becoming my “weekend family”.

I am looking forward to traveling with my team the rest of this season, and will attend my second year of university in the fall.
