It’s time to get ready for the North Thompson Fall Fair Family Parade, happening on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014.
This is a much shorter route than the big parade held on Saturday, and is a perfect opportunity for families, children and seniors to participate.
The Family Parade is open to everyone but is lead by the children who love to bring their pets, moms, dads, grandparents and neighbours.
Assembly will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Barriere Secondary School, followed by the judging and ribbons awarded at 10:15.
The Family Parade will leave shortly after that, no later than 10:30 a.m., and anyone with a ‘Special Ribbon’ will be winning prize money presented at the Interior Savings Outdoor Stage at the Fall Fair after the procession.
There is a special prize this year for best decorated scooter and best decorated bicycle - so get creative!

The Family Parade will leave the Barriere High School, proceed up Barriere Lakes Road to the Fall Fair grounds, and end at the Interior Savings Outdoor Stage.
* Please note: All participating children must be picked up at the Stage at the end of the Parade.
