On Sunday March 29, the beef members of the Yellowhead 4-H Club held their first beef weigh-in at the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo grounds.

This was our first weigh-in of the year, the photography club also took the time to get pictures of the weigh-day, and also went over judging photography.

As it was the first weigh-in, some of the steers were not used to the amount of people and we had difficulty getting them onto the weigh scale. Hopefully by the next weigh-in all the steers will be more comfortable leading.

The Yellowhead 4-H club is still selling flower baskets for our annual fundraiser. If you wish to purchase any, please contact a local Yellowhead 4-H member. Pickup will be on May 5, at the fall fair grounds.
