Members of the North Thompson Valley Garden Club held a work-bee on July 25 to start tidying up the Community Garden in preparation for the Harvest Festival on September 11. Weeds were dug up and thrown on the compost heap, paths were cleared, and quite a lot was done, but the Garden is large and there is still lots to do. There will be another work-bee in two weeks, on August 8. Community members who love to garden are invited to join club members in sprucing up the Garden.
