It’s official!
One lucky exhibitor at the annual North Thompson Fall Fair in Barriere will be receiving their entry fees back in cash.
To encourage early entry submissions by exhibitors for the Sept. 3-5, 2016 event, officials have announced there will be an Early Bird Draw for all those folks who have their entry forms in to the entry secretary by 5:30 p.m., Aug. 12.
If your name is drawn you will receive the full amount of your entry fees paid back to you, this could be $6 or $600, whatever the amount of your entry form totals up to.
But that’s not all, the winner of the draw will also be receiving a Fall Fair gift basket filled with plenty of fun items, including two tickets to the Friday night Family Dance, and two tickets to the Sunday evening Cowboy Concert.
So, make sure you fill out those entry forms well before the Early Bird Draw deadline so that you will not miss out on the draw.
Entry catalogues can be picked up at a number of businesses around the community of Barriere; Country Feeds, the Star/Journal, Employment Office, etc. You can also go online to: www.fallfair-rodeo.com to look at the catalogue and download entry forms and class information.
You can drop your envelopes off at the Barriere Chamber of Commerce office every Thursday from until Aug. 11, the Barriere AG Foods foyer on Fridays from 10- noon and 3 - 5 p.m. until Aug. 12, or use the drop box mail slot next to the front door on the Fall Fair Hall at the fairgrounds (use the Barriere Lakes Road second gate entrance by the caretaker’s trailer.
