Getting ready for theChristmas tree light up in Barriere

District of Barriere’s CAO Colleen Hannigan (on ladder) and staff person Ellen Monteith braved bitterly cold temperatures last Friday to ready the evergreen tree next to the Fadear Park Bandshell for that evenings festivities. The annual Christmas Tree Lightup was accompanied this year by a lantern parade that saw many families come out to participate despite the Arctic front that was in the area at the time.
