Get your dancing shoes on - the Gordie West Band, including Mike Dygert, is coming to Barriere on September 3, at the Lions Community Hall, for an Old Time Dance where the whole family is welcome.
This is a non-liquor event, but there will be cold beverages available and lots of prizes; so be sure to come out and enjoy some good old toe tappin’ music.
The doors will open at 8 p.m. and tickets will be available at the door: $10/person, kids 12 and under are free.
Gordie West will have a busy long weekend, performing all three days of the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo on the outdoor stage, playing at the Old Time Family Dance on Saturday in the Lions Hall, and also performing in the Cowboy Concert on Sunday, September 4, in the Fall Fair Hall. Tickets for the Concert can be purchased at the Fair Office, Barriere Country Feeds, the Star/Journal, or at the door; Adults $10, Seniors $6.
