The directors of the Lower North Thompson Forest Society made the decision last month to donate $5,000 to Barriere Secondary School to be given out in five $1,000 bursaries to graduating students.
This money has been given to the school and will be administered by the school.
Graduating students who wish to apply for the bursaries are encouraged to contact the school for an application.
Applications for the bursaries are not available at the Lower North Thompson Community Forest Society office.
