The Barriere and District Heritage Society held their fundraising meat raffle draw on Dec. 20, 2023.

The first place draw of a $200 meat pack gift certificate was awarded to Cassie Gilbert.

The second place draw of a $100 meat pack gift certificate was awarded to Angela Semrick.

The third place draw was a $100 Meat Pack Gift Certificate given to Kelly Laidlaw and the fourth place draw of $100 meat pack gift certificate went to John Sibbelle, followed by the fifth place draw for a $100 meat pack gift certificate going to Irene Berger which she kindly donated to food bank. The final sixth place draw of a frozen turkey was awarded to Peter Blanke.

Thank you to all who purchased raffle tickets.

The Barriere and District Heritage Society thanks Mitchell’s Mountain Beef, Rainer Custom Cutting, 4 Bar S Ranch and Fran Wagstaff for their generous prize donations. Thank you to AG Foods for providing a space to sell tickets. Funds generated from the raffle are used for the maintenance and upkeep of the North Thompson Museum and Archives.
