High School Rodeo returns to Barriere

It’s been awhile, but BC High School Rodeo-South finally returned to Barriere the weekend of Oct. 8-9, at the North Thompson Fall Fairgrounds with a first class event and over 70 entries.

The two day event was filled with numerous rodeo competitions including; Senior Girls Barrel Racing, Senior Girls Breakaway Roping, Tie Down Roping, Senior Girls Goat Tying, Steer Wrestling, Senior Girls Pole Bending, Team Roping, and more.

Organizers reported the event to be well-attended, the weather and facility “just right”, and a great time was had by all.
