The afternoon of Saturday, June 25, saw the occupant or occupants of a small car end up on top of the cement abutment on the west side of the Yellowhead highway just before the old Agate Bay Road turnoff. Fortunately the vehicle did not go completely over the abutment as there is a very steep incline down to the railway track some distance below. Traffic was delayed for some time with single lane only traffic until the vehicle had been removed.
No information on the cause of the accident or if any injuries were reported was available as of press time.
