Tuesday, July 12, was the first of three fun activity days at the Barriere Library as part of the Book A Trip Summer Reading Club 2016.

Youngsters gathered for the Amazing Race where they travelled to different countries throughout the library and learned about the culture while participating in some fun activities.

Some of the activities included building an inuksuk in Canada, tasting vegemite in Australia, using chop sticks in China, and balancing a basket on your head in Tanzania.
