Easter time heralds the birthing of farm animals here in the North Thompson Valley.

Pictured is sheep momma ewe, Rosie, saying a tender hello to one of her twin lambs just moments after the baby took it’s first breath of air at the D’Entremont farm in Barriere.

Once both lambs had been safely born they were moved into a warm barn where mom Rosie licked her babies clean as a whistle and then settled into providing their first meal.
