Legion Poster Contest announces local winners

For over 50 years, the Royal Canadian Legion has sponsored annual Poster and Literary Contests that are open to all students in the Canadian school system. The contests help the Legion to foster the tradition of Remembrance among Canadians.

For over 50 years, the Royal Canadian Legion has sponsored annual Poster and Literary Contests that are open to all students in the Canadian school system. The contests help the Legion to foster the tradition of Remembrance among Canadians.

The following Barriere Elementary School students were recently named local winners in the contest.

Intermediate 1st - Taylor Harris (moved on to zones), 2nd - Holly Gordon 3rd, - Jesse Bennett.

Juniors 1st - Charlie Meredith (moved on to zones), 2nd - Cayden Jensen, 3rd - Kallen Ross, Curtis Farrow, and Ryder McGravey.
