A bright sunny day at the ballparks on Easter Sunday, April 17, was just right for the return of the Barriere Lions Club annual Easter Egg Hunt which had not been held due to COVID since 2019.
Lions Club members turned out in force to serve up their famous pancake breakfasts to a hungry and appreciative crowd.
Earlier that morning Lions were busy covering the size of two ball fields with numerous chocolate eggs. Later in the day they made sure the giant white Easter Rabbit’s basket was kept full of chocolate eggs, which were being handed out to youngsters as fast as they were being replaced.
A big thank you was expressed by all who attended to the Lions Club for hosting the event, and to sponsors Barriere IDA Pharmacy, and Barriere AG Foods.
