The Carpet Bowling at the Canada55+ Games in Kamloops the week of Aug. 23-26, saw a number of area players competing. It was a nail biting game between the team of Little Fort player Hector Denton (who now lives in Kamloops), and Little Fort residents Charlie Pecor, Sharon March, and Linda Verhoeven, against Bruce McAllister (from Barriere) who joined the Kamloops host team, consisting of Marie Lewis, and Roland and Louise Phoenix.

The host team took the gold and the Little Fort team brought home the silver.

Adrienne Campbell, also from Little Fort, spared on the 100 Mile team to bring home bronze.
