Local organizations partner to Stuff the Cruiser for local charity

Barriere RCMP detachment commander Cpl. Rob Welsman is shown taking part in the ‘Stuff The Cruiser ‘event held at the Chamber of Commerce parking lot on Friday, Dec. 11, 2021. The event collected 845 pounds of food and over $1000 in cash for the local food bank. This year’s event will take place on Nov. 23, 2023. (Jill Hayward photo)

Only 17 more days until our Stuff the Cruiser event takes place.

On Nov. 23, 2023 come join us for Stuff the Cruiser from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

We will have the local RCMP, the Interior Savings team and the Barriere Food Bank onsite with us for the evening.

Stop in at the Chamber office, bring a unwrapped gift, or a non-perishable food item and take your turn at stuffing the cruiser.

If you can’t make it on the 17th and would still like to donate, we will happily accept donations at the Chamber office before the event.

The Barriere RCMP will be in front of the Chamber office with their police cruiser and information on pursuing a career with the RCMP. Please bring an unwrapped gift or non-perishable food item. All food donations go to the Barriere Food Bank. All toy donations will be donated within the North Thompson Valley.

Sponsored by: Barriere and Area Chamber of Commerce, the RCMP, Armour Mountain Bookkeeping, The Print Room, and Interior Savings.
