Bandshell Friday in Fadear Park on Aug. 12, saw attendees enjoying the music of Gordie West and Bill Fowler.

The park and its facilities were bustling that night with many using the splash pad, basketball court, exercise equipment and playground. There was also quite a bit of interest where Danielle Wiess, an electric mobility expert for CEA and project manager for Charge North EV, was set up with information regarding a Charge North EV Discovery Tour electric vehicle. Wiess was also providing test drives in an electric Ford Mustang Mach-Eto for those interested in the technology.

“The project gives residents of central and northern B.C. an opportunity to ask questions about electric vehicles, hear from local EV drivers, explore an EV, and discover what it feels like to drive electric,” commented Wiess, “The Charge North EV Discovery Tour will help accelerate EV adoption by giving residents a chance to learn about the technology and better understand if an EV will work for them.”
