Barriere’s Manna Salle celebrated his 100th birthday on Boxing Day to a packed house of family, friends and well-wishers at the North Thompson Fall Fair Hall. Manna and his wife, Geordie, have been lifelong contributors to the area. Through hard work, volunteerism and support of programs that improve the community, they have made a positive difference on many fronts, especially with the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association and the Barriere Recreation Society and Curling Club.
