The 13th Annual Breakfast with Santa will be back at the Barriere Lions Hall (on the corner of Borthwick and Lilly Road) on Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thanks to Interior Savings, and the generous support of the Barriere Lions Club and their hard working volunteer members, this event continues to take place, bringing an important annual fun filled community event to families and children within the area.
The delicious buffet style breakfast includes pancakes, sausages, fruit, and refreshments. There will also be crafts, children’s activities, and entertainment.
Santa Claus will be making his much anticipated appearance, and there will be gifts fostering youth literacy for all those who visit with Santa.
A photographer will be on hand for pictures with Santa, and there will also be volunteers offering hands on help for the children creating seasonal themed crafts.
This year’s Breakfast With Santa is hosted by Barriere Interior Savings and the Barriere Lions Club. Additional sponsors include Yellowhead Community Services, Barriere and Area Literacy Outreach, Creating Spaces, Art and Soul Studio, plus other generous community businesses, organizations, and individuals. All proceeds from this years’ breakfast will be going to the Barriere and District Food Bank in support of area families and individuals who are in need of a helping hand.
Admission donations are appreciated, but not required. Monetary donations and non-perishable food items will be gratefully accepted.
