The McLure Volunteer Fire Department and Recreation Association held its regular meeting on Oct. 1 at the McLure Restaurant, where 11 of their members came out to report on the events over the past month and what the group had organized coming up.
The “Movie Night” held in September at the McLure fire department was well supported from local community members and the association is planning on hosting at Halloween Party. The party will also be held at the Mclure fire hall on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7pm. There will be fireworks, hot dogs and refreshments by donation. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The next meeting will be the groups annual general meeting, it is scheduled to be on Nov. 5, at 7:30pm at the fire hall.
