Two tractor trailer units loaded with 70 round bales were spotted parked on the frontage road next to the Station House Restaurant last Monday afternoon. A shortage of hay last fall due to the long dry summer has put hay in demand across the province. Many stockmen and horse owners are having to search out other suppliers to keep their animals in feed until the pastures come back.
