The Shire of Ramsgaard is located in the shining Principality of Tir Righ, found in the grand Kingdom of An Tir. It is an active Branch of The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), with it’s borders extending to Merritt, Barriere, Sorrento and Logan Lake.
Over the weekend of Sept. 30 - Oct.2, the shire came to Barriere to host their annual Freeze Off gathering at the North Thompson Fall Fairgrounds. This was the first time they had been able to gather since COVID made its appearance at the end of 2019.
The three day event was filled with visiting, numerous tournaments and competitions, bardic story sharing, period arts and crafts, and great food.
