No Host Bazaar this Saturday and more craft fairs coming

The 35th Annual Craft Fair in Little Fort on Oct. 30 was a busy

Craft fairs,  bazaars, auctions, gift galleries, and even theatre are happening allover the North Thompson Valley throughout November and December.  It’s the season to buy Christmas presents, gifts, and those special items for your home or yourself.

This Saturday at the Fall Fair Hall is the Annual No Host Bazaar, where many area non-profit service groups and organizations offer yummy baking, numerous crafts, and other unique items for sale as they actively fundraise for the upcoming year’s projects, and events.  For some of these groups it is the largest fundraiser they have, so area shoppers are encouraged to attend and support your community. Also in Barriere is the Candle Light & Holly Christmas Gift Gallery in the Legion basement, from Nov. 25 to Dec. 4, 10am-4pm daily.  Whether you love paintings, pottery, jewelry, or quilts, this is a great event that offers all these plus many more handcrafted items.  Call Jessie at 250-672-9772.

Then there is the Barriere Seniors Craft Fair at the Seniors Hall on Nov. 26, from 10am-2pm.  Call Hazel at 250-672-5587.

December 4, is the Chu Chua Chrsitmas Craft Fair, 10am - 3 pm.  Call 250-672-9995.

There is even an opportunity to enjoy a theatrical production in Barriere on Dec. 2, 3, at the Fall Fair Hall.  The Thompson Valley Players youth group will be presenting A Charlie Brown Christmas, 7 pm,   doors open at 6:30pm.  Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the Star/Journal, Barriere Legion, and Sweetnams. Seats are limited so buy your tickets soon.

To the North:

Then there is the Clearwater Elks Christmas Bazaar at the Clearwater Elks Hall on Dec. 17, from 10am-2pm.  Call Evan at 250-674-3535.

To the South:

November 26, the Heffley Creek Hall will be having a Silent Auction and Roast Beef Dinner.  Doors open at 5pm, dinner at 6:30pm.  For tickets call 250-320-3303.

The Sun Peaks Christmas Market is on Dec. 16-17, from 2-7pm both days.  Vendors will be set up throughout the Village and there will be live music to enjoy as well.  Call Janice 250-578-5386.
