The North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association’s Jan. 26 all you can eat spaghetti dinner fundraiser was all that it could be and more.

A big thanks goes out to everyone who stepped up and helped, donated cakes and pies for the dessert auction, served, washed dishes, decorated and cleaned up, donated food and other items, served at the bar or provide great live music.

Organizer Marnie Pfeifer said she was amazed at how many folks turned out for the meal; 195 spaghetti dinners served, along with caesar salad and garlic toast in just under three hours.

Sam’s Pizza and Rib House owner Doreen Landry cooked up a storm in the Fall Fair Hall kitchen, and she was able to keep the food coming even though the original number of plates was for just 150.

In all, the three hour fundraiser was fun for all who attended; and Marnie says she already has plans in the works for another great event for the association in the upcoming months.
