Hello from Flora and Mackenzie, this year’s summer students at the North Thompson Museum;

Mackenzie and I, and all the volunteers and members of the Barriere and District Heritage Society are excited to announce that the North Thompson Museum is now open to the public Tuesday through Saturday between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

This year visitors can expect the museum to look a little different, as over the past few weeks we have all been hard at work setting up new displays, refreshing existing ones, and putting together fun activities like colouring sheets and crosswords for people to take home.

We invite everyone to stop by and take a look around.

Visitors are welcome to tour the grounds at their own pace or through a guided tour with either Mackenzie or myself.

We would like to give our visitors a gentle reminder to be considerate of the social distancing and hand washing measures we have in place to help keep everyone healthy during these unusual times affected by COVID-19.

You’ll find the North Thompson Museum at: 343 Lilley Road, Barriere, B.C., and don’t forget to check out: http://www.barrieremuseum.com or Facebook: Barriere History

We look forward to seeing you,

Flora Copley and Mackenzie Ransome
