The North Thompson Volunteer and Information Centre (NTVIC) held their annual general meeting on Oct. 26.

Beverly Murphy stepped down as president, before the following board of directors were elected for the current term: President Ashley Wohlgemuth, vice-president/secretary Lindsay Arcand,  past president Beverly Murphy, treasurer Lana Laskovic; directors Charlie Kibble, Liz Gilbertson, Ward Stamer, Antoon Houben  and Jessica Genier.

The group say they are working hard to continue to serve the community and appreciate everyone’s continued support.  The NTVIC Administration Office is now open Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The After School Program runs Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on regular school days, and say they are very happy to be able to provide this service to parents in the community. Judy Armstrong continues as the manager of the After School Program.

NTVIC memberships for 2017 are now due. The memberships remain the same as 2016 and are $50 per year for nonprofit groups/businesses and individual memberships are $10.  They ask that memberships due be paid by Dec. 20.

NTVIC office administrator, Dori McRae, advises anyone who would like a copy of the AGM minutes can pick them up at the NTVIC office in the Ridge.
